Google Brand Recognition

I don't always agree with Mark Bauerline, and actually can't believe he wrote this piece The Brand in the Classroom as it is pro-technology use in education. However it is exactly related to my interests, and the focus of my work this spring - the relationship between digital media use and cognitive development. As teachers how do we leverage the tools students already know and use? Can we help them navigate the difference between academic and social uses?
